Could we plead to drop shaping until New Year?

Topic says it all - is there any chance at all Plus.net would consider switching off elloyaculators for the Christmas/New Year break. Your grim vision of 2006 took most by surprise, whole families will be home, most of users already got rid of their 56k modems as backup, there is no fun in stearing at blank google page...

Would be nice gesture. I'm sure you can elloyaculate "losses" back in January? On behalf of those QoS'd between 94 and 100% - please ?

Could we plead to drop shaping until New Year?

No way

It wouldn't cost plusnet any more to do this (Capacity is short term fixed)

We would just end up with crap service for the 90% or so of us that average only 5Gb per month.

If you turn them on contention would hit hard, meaning

you wouldn't be able to game, use voip, stream video audio etc.

If they get turned off without err, a huge investment in centrals which would put major strain on plusnets bank balence, even with there current good profit figures. i'd be out of here.
