Is there a seven day cooling off period if things don't work out for a customer?

45 days according to the broadband customer guarantee link on the homepage:

Indeed, but bear in mind that whilst you are granted 7 days by consumer law, the same laws acknowledge that non-refundable costs may exist.

Things like delivery and activation charges.

Hmmm. Not entirely sure of the wording of the "free" activation, although in my case I paid the extra tenner to get a monthly contract and provided my own kit - and placed my order before the SUP was introduced and was not notified of it by PN but left to discover it by myself once my line was activated . I've no real complaints so far, just a little bit uneasy about the way it all happened and wondering what else might be coming along.
