No - this is not about where is it.
It appears that Metronet customers have been assured that they can contact support using the 0114 number (presumably 0114 296 5097).
Previous attempts to contact PlusNet on a similar number (not 0845) have sometimes worked and sometimes not with confusing statements from the PlusNet representatives.
Can we have a clear statement to clarify the following.
Can PlusNet customers use the Metronet 0114 number for technical support.
If not is there an equivalent number for PlusNet use.
If neither of the above is true, why do we have to use a more expensive method of comunication than Metronet customers.
Metronet customers are currently able to use a geographic number to contact us to keep some consistancy with what they are used to. As we have moved Metronet support up to Sheffield now, it is a Sheffield number.
Plusnet customers are not able to get support on this line as we have a dedicated Metronet support team and at the moment there is no equivalent number for PlusNet customers however we will be installing a new telephone system in the near future and are looking into providing a geographical number for all customers to contact us with.
