Constant disconnects for 10-20 mins at 8pm 4 nights running

As in the subject, I get disconnected on or around 8pm for 4 nights running. No equipment has changed in 2 years, I am using a cable rather than wireless as I hate wireless Smiley

The modem is losing synch with the exchange, it gets synch again but drops after a few seconds and repeats until I get angry and play super mario brothers.

Any ideas? I don't think I'm on LLU or ADSLmax.

Hi,

If it's losing sync then that would imply something between your router/modem and the local exchange is causing the drop, however it's looking regular then I'd probably say it's something causing interference on the line.

The most likely candidates are things like street lights, security lights, traffic lights and Christmas tree lights (schools are back so I'm sure they'll start going up), or central heating boilers or something else that can cause interference.

Certainly worth checking if there's anything in your house or local that could be causing it.
