Chaps authentication failed.

I have had no connection since being LLU'd 3 weeks ago. Yesterday i read in a forum post about changes that were possibly needed to the router settings after LLU, even though i got an email saying no changes were needed.

I changed in ADSL settings to VC-Based and succesfully connected to testing@dslconnect.co.uk several times.When i enter my login details all i get is connection fails, CHAPS authentication failed. Can anyone suggest what is going wrong and if i need to change other settings to be able to login succesfully.

Have sent email to comms team, but you guys will probably be quicker. Any help with the setup appreciated.
