Changing mailbox passwords

Has anyone noticed the changes to the control panel for mailboxes?

Now if you want to change a password for a mailbox you need to enter the old one. Fat lot of good that is if your user has forgotten the password!

Also very weirdly if you enter something in the "old password" field, it seems to accept the change with no error message displayed. Still doesn't change the password though.

Changing mailbox passwords

Hi,

If you can't remember a mailbox password then the CSC can reset a mailbox password if needs be. Will have a look at the other point and see what I can do.

Changing mailbox passwords

That's not the point, previously the site administrator had control of mailbox passwords, why has this been taken away? If I (or one of my users) forgot a password I could reset it instantly, this way it will take several hours. It can't be a security issue, because as the site admin I am the only one who will be logging calls with CSC anyway.

I'll ask and find out for you why it's been changed.
