Cannot Access Any Member Pages With IE7

Dear Plus,

Did not know if this has been mentioned before and I cannot submit a ticket to tell you, as I cannot access it.

In IE7, all you get is is topbar and the sidebar, when you log into any of the pages in the members area. The ones that are like this:

https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=xxxx

Are you working on this?

Mark

PlusNet are aware of IE7 issues.

There is quite a big thread here > http://portal.plus.net/central/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40427

I think the bottom line is that IE7 is a beta product, and there's little point in coding for something that is highly likely to change before release.

I recommended grabbing a copy of FireFox to run alongside, you may just find that you prefer it anyway!

There is a problem with IE7 ver 7.0.5335.5 which appears to be related to the function 'POSITION: relative' in a CSS file.
I found another site which used this function in a CSS file and it gave blank areas.
I have contacted Microsoft who didn't seem to be aware of any proble with the 'POSITION: relative' function but they are now, hopefully, looking into it.
We just have to wait until they issue an updated version.
The other site is:-

Cannot Access Any Member Pages With IE7

Just a note that the public release version of IE 7 Beta 2 (March 20th) 7.0.5296.0 seems more stable and I raised a ticket on the Plus Net portal with it this morning.

Yes the problem is with ver 7.0.5335.5 which was available from 20th March.
I have just uninstalled and downloaded a fresh copy but this is still ver 7.0.5335.5.
To get the earlier one you must have downloaded prior to 20th March.
