Can't log into POP3 and Webmail

My mother-in-law has a free-online dial-up account and hasn't been able to connect to download her email for some time. I've just been trying to check it out for her and cannot connect to her mailbox either through POP3 or through webmail.

Her account name is 'blatt' and she has no mailboxes set up. We can log into the portal with her account and password. The POP3 attempt (via Mailwasher) returns with an error saying 'The connection was intentionally closed by the server before the session was completed' and Webmail just says 'Username/password match not found'.

Can anybody from PN help me to help her?

There's a problem with email on Free-Online and Force9 at the moment, there's a service status update posted here:

I'm speaking to the network guys at the moment to get the latest information and will post an update as soon as I can.

Thanks Dave. I'd only been keeping an eye on the Plusnet Service status, where the email collection problems had been resolved. I'll try it again tomorrow.
