CGI domain problems

What is going on and why isn't there a service status announcement about this?

Following the crash of cgi this afternoon when it was out for nearly two hours it has not been working properly for domains on cgi. cgi.username.plus.com works, cgi.domainname.co.uk doesn't always.

Some of the servers are working correctly, some are not. Whether your cgi webspace is accessible or not is dependant upon which server you connect to. You may connect OK, but other people will say your site is down, or vice versa.

cgi04 is broke - I suspect cgi02 may be as well from what someone else said.

Plusnet are aware, but not much seems to be happening.

One of the support staff who is on holiday thinks he knows what is wrong.

Edit: Having been led by the nose by Colin Ogilvie

Apparently it won't be looked at till the morning now!

There's a service status posting on this now.
