We've raised this with the networks team, so that they can take a look at the platform. Though as of a couple of minutes ago they weren't aware of anything that could be causing it.

Probably another dodgy customer script running somewhere :roll:

@Plus.net

I would imagine you will have some kind of active server monitoring running, why doesn't this alert you rather than rely on customers to tell you.

Thanks. It seems that thay have put another 50p in the meter as it seems to be OK now. This is not a new problem though.

I've been experiencing these problems for a couple of weeks they seem to be very intermittent. You experience slow speeds / 500s raise a ticket support try it a 11pm and it's fine for them. They then claim you are the only person they know of with the problems.

I have a server monitoring script running on the ccgi servers;
http://ccgi.chillypenguin.plus.com/mrtg/load.html

Note that this gives details for the server that cron jobs run on.

Strangely the two problems yesterday exactly match when the server was over 50% load. :shock:

And don’t forget my bandwidth monitoring script that’s stealing everyone’s bandwidth. Wink
