Just wondering how the bulk regrades are doing?

Would be nice to have an idea when to expect to be upgraded

There is no chance in knowing because BT won't give any dates so PN can't tell you anything either.

Remember it's exactly the same as the free speed upgrades last year except this time BT are not even giving 3 days notice for the upgrade (which they were supposed to do last time but it never happened).

See end of 1st page in link.

Seems some 2002 are being updated before those from 2000. Sad

I believe Dave T mentioned 900 per working day using the bulk tool-- presumably 4500 per week

Eh?

So to do all 180,000 ish customers we are talking 40 weeks - or ten months?

The MaxDSL updates were always realistically going to take months, look at how the long the 2Mb upgrades took. This is one of the major problems with PlusNet's approach to these things, many customers start of with unrealistic expectation and the marketing and hype only goes to fuel it. So I have no sympathy for PlusNet when it comes back to bite them.

makes me ponder the point of ending my adsl paying a £60 fee to reconnect and getting the 8mb almost instantly!

I feel sorry for anyone thats joined PN this year, they got a LOOOOONG wait ahead of them

Hi Guys,

BT have delivered on time.

*falls off chair*

Initially, we should be able to place approximately 900 High priority orders" in accordance with our market share, but will also be able to submit, "low priority" ones, which will be processed if there is space available, ie: if other ISP's are not using their market share.

.. on a 5 day week basis

1998? Your profile says 22 May 2001 - have you had a previous account?

Afraid it is the 2001 date that counts according to other posts from PN in this forum.

Guys, Have you checked your router sync. I have had no notifications from PN or BT but have come home to DSL MAX today. A quick check on the BT order checker shows a cease and provide for 2nd May as follows:-

PROVIDE BT IPSTREAM MAX 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0
CEASE (ADSL) BT IPSTREAM HOME 2000 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0
