Broadand??? No b in band!

Hi!

Has PlusNet realised yet that when the message box pops up to say "PlusNet Broadband is connected" --- what it actually says is "Broadand" with no b in band!

C'mon PlusNet! You can do better than that! Did'nt you watch the "Test the Nation" on the use of English?

I'll forgive you if it's altered shortly!

Broadand??? No b in band!

Hi,

This sounds more like something on your particular connection, rather than on our side, as we don't have any popups that alert you to the connection being established.

Hi there,

Where do you see this message?

Surely it is your system that creates this message from a connection which you have created?

B in Broadband

Er, yup! If no-one else is getting it, then it must be just me. Sorry, folks! End of story, okay?

Broadand??? No b in band!

Hi there,

Are you using a modem? I suspect you made a typo when initially creating your BB connection. Assuming you are using XP, go to Network Connections and you should see a dial up connection called 'Plusnet Broadand'. Simply right-click this and select 'rename'. You should then be able to correct the spelling.

Kind Regards,
