Anyone else had the BTw page today? I seem to have internet back now, but it's a pain having to fiddle when BT decide they are going to muck things up. once in a weekend is plenty thank you BT.

You mean to say that random daily disconnections and the lovely BTw screen aren't normal daily occurrences?

Why aren't I told these things!!?

But that's no good if you're a rangers supporter  (I stay out of it as much as pos but I have a friend who supports celtic (whom I like to wind up when celtic loose  ) and relative who supports rangers.

@ian555 that would be about right

@ljlaw how was it :razz:

Just had a look at usertools, no service outages showing for aylesbury since september.

Hi,

We've had a few calls this evening saying the same thing but not had any MSO notifications yet and there's no problems on our side of the network.

My best advice is to reboot all your equipment and if the pages are still appearing specifying our DNS servers in your network settings. They are

212.159.6.9 & 212.159.6.10

@no7olivier hubby loved it (celtic supporter) and I had to speak to him for a while  Not sure if he would want it to be a frequent occurrance though Smiley

Yes. Just had the page.

Had to diconnect and reconnect my router to get my static IP back.

No doubt Plusnet does this rather than answer direct complaints from customers.

Yep I had it today for the first time.
Reboot and all is fine. In fact the forums I use are loading faster and smoother than usual! Smiley

Hmmm, my connection settings (on the right) quote:

Primary DNS Server 212.159.13.49
Secondary DNS Server 212.159.13.50
Optional tertiary DNS server 212.159.6.9

Has there been a DNS change 'again' ?

I've have'nt been able to get on tonight until I changed my DNS to a third party DNS server. This is the same for my brother.

Plusnet have 4 DNS servers iirc, Dave has quoted 2 could that be the reason for the incosistency?

Yep that is all it is you can use any of the servers quoted above without issue.
