BT line query

The BT line we use for broadband has the usual splitter, and we also use the line for calls (faxes actually). Question - we wish to put BT call diversion on the line - will this affect our broadband connexion?
Thanx.

In theory, no.

Your best bet is to contact BT and get in writting that this service should not complicate things.

This is exactly what I do... No it does not affect your broadband line.

All outgoing calls are unaffected (although a slightly different dialing tone to indicate divert on)
All broadband activity unaffected
All incoming calls divert to my mobile (any number)

If you ever have to fall back to dialup, you will have to disable the "wait for dial tone" option in your modem config, as it will not recognise the divert dial tone as a valid one. Apart from that it should be OK.
