BRAS Rate - Non PN

We can see our BRAS rate on the portal.

Is there a BT tool to show this info that anyone can use?

I have a friend who is with another ISP and has a question about the speeds he is getting. Or would he have to go through his ISP for this info?

http://speedtester.bt.com

NOTE: The portal does NOT show your bRAS, it shows a similar figure to the nearest 500kbps.

Why don't you suggest he migrates to Plusnet - you could get the referral payments. Wink

Thanks James I'll take a look.

Migration is not on that cards I'm afraid as it is company supplied.

Mind you if I could find the right person in the company..... But thas a no as they would require to be able to place orders and receive invioces on paper.

Oh well.

Many printers.....

But don't all PN customers have to sign up on the portal with a CC or a Direct Debit?

We pay via DD, but the initial payments etc were made by cheque.
Don't think you could pay monthly subs by cheque though unless you paid up front for a year for example (sure I read of somebody doing that)

We allow it in special circumstances. A number of MetroNet customers continue to pay by cheque and BACS, as this was a payment option previously offered to them.
