BB+ to PAYG

You should be able to do this for yourself from the Upgrade link at the top of this page.

Probably a waste of time switching. For me it's just as crap, with speeds of less than 100kbps in the evening.

BB+ to PAYG

As I've posted in the other topic you've started I'm sure there is another factor here. I've just run a test and got 6146 kbps:

Gone from BB+ crap speeds, to PAYG 4.8Meg on a 5meg IP profile. Not happy I had to do this to get a good internet experience, but very happy with the speeds.

I'm on a 2meg setup and getting full speed with PAYG and usenet. Makes a pleasant change after crawling along on a premier+ account.

That could still be the game not be recognised and hence being Gold when it should be Titanium. Have you checked if it is on the list Dave has posted in the Gaming forum?

BB+ to PAYG

I'm on BB+ and need to get back to broadband as the speed is like dial up. I was just about to pay the extra for PAYG ( I'm OK about that it isnt much more cash and seems competitive in comparison to other isps)

However I'm told there will be new products along soon - any idea what they will look like - might they be more suitable that PAYG?

Also read a post on here that there are improvements due in March but what will they look like.

Word is that although the announcement will be soon, the changed accounts will not be available until April/May. Can you wait that long??!!

We don't have a timeframe for the new products currently. It would be entirely up to you if you were to change product in the interim period. There would be no changes in your contract.

Probably not!

I've stuck on the 2 meg as the whole upto 8 meg thing seems like a bit of a lottery.

I guess most people would think that this is a bit to cautious but generally I don't have the need for super fast, just consistently quick speeds!

Thanks for your input.

If you put your router stats in to http://212.23.23.177/calc.htm you will get an indication of what you could expect. If it comes up with more than say 4Mb, it would be safe and you should see an improvement worth having
