Both my pc and laptop have today lost their autologin capbility. I have done nothing to any cookie settings, they are the same as they were yesterday evenng. I have tried several times to ctiate the autologin several times, but each time the browser is closed the facility is lost.

Autologin Broken?

Its been erratic for me for several days at least. I've not found that the login is lost when the browser is closed but certainly when the PC is restarted. FWIW it's OK at the moment.

Autologin Broken?

I notice that Dave has posted an announcement that there were problems with being logged out of the portal and the problem is now fixed. Not here it isn't, using IE6.

Autologin Broken?

The problem mentioned via the service status tool was with people being logged out in a much shorter time than normal, if they didn't have autologin set. If you're now having problems with autologin working, I'd suggest turning it off and then turning it back on, to reset the cookie on your machine.

Autologin Broken?

This is getting annoying now. Went away for the wekend, came back and I was logged out. Autologin set and accepted for 2 years, I come back to it, open Explorer and i'm logged out again

Now, as much as F9 may want to deny there is a problem, I have made no changes to any of the browsing or cookie settings on my pc in almost 2 years, that rules me out!

Autologin Broken?

Hi Mark,

The problem/s with autologin I think are related to how web browsers handle going from http => https and from https => http again. The cookies are required inorder to handle to security aspects of the login and moving around the portal from secure to insecure pages. That said I gave up with autologin years back, I'm so used to logging in & out I rarely give it a second thought.

**Sorry! I know that doesnt answer it for you, but you may well be correct there might be a problem somewhere?
