AppleMac + Plusnet

I have a friend who wishes to get broadband; she is on dial up at the moment. She has tried a few of the more commercial providers and claims she has been told they want to charge her extra for using an Apple Mac.

I thought the computer you use was irrelevant, is there anyone who could put me or her right on this. I think she will be looking for a modem as well.

Ironically I will be moving from here soon, but I think she is the perfect customer for Plusnet.

Thanks

I use a Mac too and so does my husband.

Yes, PlusNet is definitely Mac-friendly. Some broadband suppliers don't even bother to provide a service that's compatible with Macs, or, at least, Mac users can't access all the features.

Hi,

I've got a Mac and PC's both work fine and we don't charge any different for different OS's. We have customers using all different versions of Windows, Mac OS, Unix, RISC OS and more.
