Annual Contract?

I just received an email saying...

Your PlusNet Broadband Premier - Up to 2Mb (Annual Contract, No Modem, Activation Offer) product is now known as PlusNet Broadband Premier Option
1 (Annual Contract, No Modem, Activation Offer).

Except when i signed up it was for a monthly contract. Does this mean i can still cancel at anytime without a charge? or do i now have to wait until a year after i joined? Which seems crazy to me?

Annual Contract?

Hi there

Looking at your account it appears you selected annual contract and activation on signup, the first year of which ends in July.

To cancel this before July would require payment of the contract.

I'm pretty sure i selected monthly, with no modem, as i'm a student on a placement year and will not occupy the house i am living in for a full year.

If you had to have ADSL enabled on your line then you'd either have paid upfront for that or be on a 1 year contract with the cost of the activation spread over the 12 months.

Annual Contract?

The product type has been annual contract, included activation, since your sign up in July last year.

This means that your account has always been subject to the initial 12 month contract.
