BarCamp is an international network of unconferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants — focusing on early-stage web applications, and related open source technologies and social protocols.
Well, we're hosting one. Weekend of 26th / 27th May 2007, right here at Internet House!
The topics will cover:-
 Social Networks
 Web 2.0 applications
 The future of the web in the UK and beyond
 New business models for the next generation net
There will be a prize (a Slingbox) for the best presentation.
There will also be an award to the developer(s) of the best new UK based web application / mashup of £1000.
This is a FREE event. Participants are encouraged to present / discuss their ideas openly and freely.
Food (Breakfast & Lunch), Drinks (Tea, Coffee, Coke) & BEER! (after 5pm) will be provided free of charge.
Projectors and PC's for presentations are supplied.
