Account types and upgrades

Hey guys,

I've been following the various "when will my upgrade be?" threads for a while now, and it's just occured to me that the account types are always either Broadband Premier or Broadband Plus.

The account type shown on my bills is "ADSL Home Self-Install (Annual contract, No activation fee)" - same cost as premier, but does this get upgraded according to the same schedules?

Exchange checker shows my exchange (NESVL, DSMLAM 101) due to be upgraded in July (originally may Evil ) but still no sign of nuffin Sad

Am I worrying needlessly here and it's just BT dragging their heels on my upgrade?

Cheers,

Dan

Sounds about right, ADSL Home is just an old account type, but will still be included in the upgrades. I have written (with lots of help) another checker which relies on users inputing data about their upgrade, it collates the information in a database and when searched will give you any results for your exchange that have been entered. It currently lives at http://cgi.mcm-communications.co.uk/excheck but will shortly be moving to the new ccgi server, at which point I will put a auto redirect in place until the old server goes offline.

I queried the system for your exchange and was given:

User Submitted Results

Exchange: NESVL Seaton Delaval
DSLAM:'SDQ_DSL_101'
Plusnet Username: blandie
Status: Paid Upgrade Complete, Working At Full Speed
Record Last Updated: 2005-06-16

There was also a result from the BT PDF but the data in the system is from the original PDF so is likeley to be inaccurate.
