Accessing Additional Mailbox

I helped a mate setup his new Plusnet account earlier today & he wanted seperate mailboxes for he & his missus.

I added the additional mailboxes but when we try accessing them it will not authenticate. We couldn't even access these new mailboxes from webmail.
eg.

username+mailbox-name
password

Just doesn't work. Username on it's own works fine.

I have a seperate domain so normally don't use Plusnets email, however I got the same results when I tried adding a new mailbox to my own account.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

It normally takes about 15 minutes or so to set up a mailbox, if that's long passed then I would suggest raising a ticket and we can try and find out what's wrong.

Hi,

How long ago did yopu create the mailboxes.

I have found that it takes a while on occasions fro the mailbox to work. It doesnt appear to be instant.

If it doesnt work after a few hours I would raise a ticket. there may be a problem with the account mail components.
