Yes you can. And in the future you can expect speeds up to 24MB (probably before the end of the year).

A very quick DSLMAX / LLU question

LLU is already offering up to 8Mbs speeds now and is equivelant to BT IPstream max premier (due to having an 800Kbs upload speed).

But only if you are on a broadband premier option 3 account (paying £39.99/month) (previously known as up to 8Mbs) as that is the only residential account that will be offered those speeds (That I know of) subject to your LLU enabled exchange supporting ADSL2+.

BB premier option 1 max speeds will be 8Mbs and option 2 16Mbs. BB+ will remain at 8Mbs I believe unless you were on the upto 4Mb or upto 8Mbs BB+ products (which are no longer available) in which case you will have the same speeds as premier option 2 & 3.

I'm not sure what the BB PAYG accounts will get on LLU.

Your LLU connection has nothing to do with DSLMax but you should end up with similar download speed and possibly higher upload speed

Iam confused now. Now that I have been moved to LLU is that instead of DSLMAX, or as well as.

A very quick DSLMAX / LLU question

DSLmax is BT's original name for their upto 8Mbs products (BT IPstream max and max premier is the proper names for the product)

All LLU provisions currently support up to 8Mbs speeds and when available up to 24Mbs with ADSL2+ and a supporting PlusNet product.

DSLMax has become a generic term for > 2Mbs speeds but should not be used as an LLU product name.

So that's instead of DSLMax, but with about the same results.

Yes, except you get a higher upstream speed with LLU (up to 800Kbs compared to BTs 448Kbs) on the residential products.

Didn't PAYG became up to 24MB with the product refresh?
