speed is awful. line connects at 4000 all the time, very stable. however according to plusnets stable rate page, its 500.

very very very annoyed...

All it takes is one bad sync speed for the MSR (Maximum Stable Rate) to be knocked down, it then takes 3 (i think) resyncs at higher speeds for it to be bumped up again ... at least thats how I understand it works.

Also I believe the MSR is automatically set from information given by BT.

Rebooting your router once a day for 3 days is the way to bring it back up again (assuming you connect at high speeds each time)

Yeah, figured it would be that.

Its really crap that a single low connection for what ever reason screws you for 3/4 reconnects. I want to be able to leave my kit on 24/7 but have now had to put an electrical timer in to turn it off for 30 mins over night.

230kbps is absolutley disgusting
