212.159.74.1 - who?

Whoever this IP belongs to appears to be trying to exploit NB port 139. It is within the F9/Plusnet IP range so maybe they could look into it?

Hi,

I would suggest that you email abuse@force9.net
N/A

212.159.74.1 - who?

that ip routes back to the following location at this moment in time

gajjar.plus.com [212.159.74.1]

now you must remember that ip addresses can be spoofed, so may not have come from where you think it did, not just that the user could have a trojan or other form of hijacked software on their pc, and still may not be from them

also this ip could be dynamic, but if static then would be easier for f9 to look into

if anything you will need to provide times, dates and logs of the attack to prove something, before anything would be done about it
