15GB external usenet how can i tell?

Plusnet are developing a VMU tool for usenet but surely it's not to hard to keep a tally of howmuch you download via usenet, or isn't it that simple?

15GB external usenet how can i tell?

I htought 3rd party usenet was NOT included in the SUP. Just PNs own news servers?

BTW bad luck you have just gone over 100gb, naughty letter time Tongue

a) All UseNet traffic, irresective of source, qualifies for the 15GB Cap and Throttle. this degradation is not part of the SUP published a couple of months back.

b) A 100GB "naughty letter" may not apply since we don't know "tuitt"'s contract. For example if he were on TeleWorker, there are no SUP limits (but UseNet Cap & Thrttle still applies).

Pn are not going to be happy if that is your normal level of usage. If this was an unusually high month, you may have no trouble, but you'll be in line for warnings and the rest of it (see stickies for details) if you carry on.
I think usenet will be the least of your problems.

At the end of the day its not against the law to download over 100gb. Whats the worst that can happen, a ticking off by email / letter and constant monitoring or maybe being thrown out of PN. If they throw you out of PN then thats doing you a favour as you can migrate to a better ISP.
