0845/Broadband

Hi,

I am just about to order my (third) broadband connection from PlusNET,

This line will be an 0845 number....

Is that likely to cause any problems with the PlusNET ADSL sign-up/testing process?

Thanks, Stefan

It depends

All physical lines will have a geographical number assigned to them, along with the special rate number. You need to use the geographical one.

The reason is that most special rate numbers are not supplied through BT, although they may be your supplier.

The number you shouldbe using is that supplied at the top of your BT line rental bill.

Hi,

As Philip says you can't order broadband on a non-geographical number such as on 0845 number, that'll get rejected straight away. You'll need to use the geographical number that the 0845 number points to.
