0808 update by end of month

I have recently been informed that the situation with the inability to connect (which I am finding increasingly worse day by day, mostly from 15:30 onwards) is going to improve by the end of this month as PlusNet are purchasing more lines etc.

Are you able to confirm this is correct, and if so why has there been no formal announcement made?
