Re: customising the forum design

It seems nothing changes at Plusnet.
My post has been buried in this thread somewhere in what is a mildy related thread and NOTHING has been done.
I really do not understand how it is that you use a template of simple machines and yet you manage to screw it up and make it show on 1/3 of the screen.
Surely you would be better off you use the default template at simple machines until you can get it right.  After all I bet nobody has a problem listing the following forum and having it fill their screen:

Re: customising the forum design

Could you add another option to the poll: I'm using a Firefox user CSS and it already is full screen.

Re: customising the forum design

We have started looking at this now, but we've changed the way we are likely to do this for a better method. We're looking at it just now, for rollout in the new year.

Already raised a long time ago but fix not implemented
Temporary fix  is as follows
Since I use Firefox I fixed it by creating a user style sheet as this
Quote
#header-wrap + #content,
#header-wrap + #content .tborder {
  width: 100% ! important;
}

I have found this add-on for firefox which makes implementing this fix a heck of a lot easier.
Its called Stylish and can be found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108
1) Click the new icon in the status bar at the bottom right of the Firefox window (looks like a page with a brush on it)
2) Goto "Write style > for community.plus.net"
3) Type any description you want, then paste in the following in the big box
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("community.plus.net") {
#header-wrap + #content,
#header-wrap + #content .tborder {
  width: 100% ! important;
}
}
4) Save and Job done!
