What are the little icons at the left hand side of each line of forum?

If you mean the icon to the left of forum subject lists see the key just above the purple footer section of the page.

if you mean the ones uder your name
hover over them and it will tell you, there are a lot, but under yours, the LH is your profile, the middle send an e-mail, the rh are you on line or off line

if you mean on the index, look down to the bottom and they are explained there
