Timing on threads/posts

Why is it some threads show the time a post was made and others don't, not sure why that is...

I find it irritating when a post just says 'yesterday' as I have to check whether I've read it or not, whereas I would have a far better idea if there was a timed.

Re: Timing on threads/posts

@Mayfly - There is an option in settings that will allow you to change this under the display preferences select the Absolute Dates option and try this.

While on the subject of timing what winds me up is you’ll get a notification that you’ve been mentioned or a reply has been made to a subscribed thread if you happen to have the Forum open and click this link, the new post just mentioned in the email doesn’t appear! However if you wait up to about a minute then it will, I have mentioned this before but it’s still annoying.

Also if you have posts in the view excluding the one cited in the email and you mark them as read you never see the post you were emailed about appearing in the list!

Ah much better, thank you - here's me winding myself up for months, haha
