Hope I have put this in the right place, I couldn't find a specific category.
I have just filled in my profile.
I wanted to add a picture to my signature - but the usual methods won't work.
I haven't got a clue what - BBC code and smileys may be used in your signature.
Doing a search, all I come up with are sites for the B.B.C.

Try this for getting started - http://www.bbcode.org/
The easiest way of producing a good looking signature with BBCode and smilies, is to use the forum editor (i.e. create a new forum posting). Use the available buttons (above the editor) to create your desired signature (as a forum post). Use the [Preview] button to help get your signature design as you want it, then simply copy the BBCode produced (up to 600 characters) and paste it into your forum signature in your profile.
Having said that, it might become irrelevant because the Plusnet forum is moving to a new platform,
so the rules for coding signatures etc, may be different -

Adding a picture to your signature as opposed to your avatar needs it to be hosted elsewhere as you can't upload it
You then need to add it using this command [img] www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share-thumb/bf05568be3da9504c77805785786a234-27-02-2016.png[/img]; as an example which gives this

Thank you both for your help.
Maybe I should wait a while.
I seem to be having signature problems all over at the moment.
