@jaread83 I am getting random notifications - you and @ITWorks replied to this topic since I last looked, and I only received notification of his post - nothing for yours.

Added picture.

I looked at your image @jab1 and I don't see anything wrong here. ITWorks is the last person to reply when you saw the notification so he becomes the named person.. previous commenters are just counted and presented as a number. See my comment above.

OK, @jaread83 - I take your point about my post above, but there have been several since - not received ANY notification about those, either by pop-up or the feed.

@jab1 @JayG @mauircec @ITWorks @jaread83 @Gandalf

I’m going to start a new test topic and tag all of you as above. Can each of you please post in it what notifications you receive. I want to test my theory that we are only seeing the first notice arising on a topic after we subscribe to it.

Re: Notification feed failure

@jaread83, I've had 3 notifications today (one of which was a mention in a post that one of the other notifications was about).  Looking at my unread topics I think I should currently have another 4 notifications.  There are more from earlier on though I'd say I'm missing as well.

Snap! @GandalfNotifications2.PNG

But I'm still not seeing the pop-up notification!

Re: Notification feed failure

I am going to email Lithium support and ask them to investigate. Missing notifications of subscribed topics can be a bit of a problem for our active users that are here a lot and I want to get this looked into.

Edit: Lithium support have been emailed and I have received an email back confirming that they have received it. I shall wait for their reply.

Re: Notification feed failure

@jaread83Thanks, Jack - it's still happening, I have had no notification of this post, or any after Kevins' original post in his 'test' thread.

Re: Notification feed failure

Okay so it has now happened to me. The only reason I knew that there was an unread item in this thread is because I saw the feed on the homepage for latest posts.

@I just got the @mention notification.

Notification on the SU boards appear to work, but like @jab1  I've not seen any 'pop-ups' today.  Weird.

Re: Notification feed failure

I got a 'reply' and a 'mention' notification for @MauriceC's post above - but no pop-up.

Re: Notification feed failure

And I received just an @mention notification to @jab1 reply.  No pop up.

Just received a notification for the following topic as per the spec @jaread83 has just described (i.e. as normal)

There must be something buried within this current topic (and others which are malfunctioning) which is different from the above.

New theory required! Cheesy

Latest notifications attached as per @Townman@'s request (something odd happened whilst posting - after typing '@', @Townman was not included on the drop-down list of members involved in the conversation even though he presumably should have been.)

Re: Notification feed failure

I now seem to be getting notifications randomly - noe for @MauriceC's, but one for @JayG's - which was the highlighted post, which meant I nearly  missed Maurice's

Reported that things appeared to be OK over in the 'hidden' SU boards.  Sadly this is not true!  Several active threads that I follow closely have not generated any notifications - one thread has had 5 or 6 responses during the day.

Re: Notification feed failure

My results are a bit random.  I see most of @jab1  responses; none from @Gandalf and 1 from @Townman  and @ITWorks
