The link for the itunes PlusNet App either needs updateing or referenced that the product is no longer available as the link https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/plusnet/id404965487?mt=8?WT.mc_id=ec_int_201012_Plus29&link=appstore redirects to http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/affiliates/download/ & it can not be located via a quick generic search

&
However & in comparison the Android App has not been updated since 2011 & can still be found on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=t4t.demo.webview

asking for a three year old news letter to be updated serves what purpose exactly?

Serves the purpose of those that may think the link to the itunes PlusNet App may still be valid prior to clicking on it
& one could also ask the question
Why does Plusnet still link to Three year old Newsletters that have not & are unlikely to ever be updated again ?

Because Community members asked for links to newsletters to be provided on the website.

I've never heard of "old" newsletters from any organisation ever getting updated. Organisations may issue new newsletters, but they don't update old ones.
