Sorry to seem to be picking on you again @JonoH but I'd take issue with this comment, because if all browsers were being treated equal (some more equal than others perhaps) then the 'fix' for the FF and Edge issues would be a priority and not at the bottom of the todo list!

Huh

I normally use Chrome with an adblocker so that must be why I've never seen the survey one before.

I guess I need to look at my settings again!! Evil

I use FF with ABP and I get the survey after every new login, which is quite a few in a day as I never keep any data offline.

Re: Logging in to forums bug - today (and oh no not again)

Ah, I just broke the forumsEmbarrassed

I tried using ABP to block various 'bits' and had a greyed out page and no functionality at all.

Reversed my manual input and will just click 'it' away (again)

(+1 regarding the comment regarding browser choice - all browsers should work on these forums ;))

Re: Logging in to forums bug - today (and oh no not again)

@Anonymous I'd argue that prioritising your developers makes absolute sense and, it makes more sense to focus developer time on fixing big issues that cause customers real problems (I'm sure you can all think of an example) rather than cause a top end 15-second delay, if you happen to be one of the (minority) customers that use happen to use a certain browser. The fact that we have external developers that have already identified the cause makes it even more sensible to use them for the fix. ps I never think you're picking on me Smiley

What's happened to the options button? Without that how do I mark all topics as read.

@JonoH There should be spaces in this reply. I've lost most of the forum functions. (even getting oops. you do not have sufficient privileges etc when clicking on the replies in my notifications section). Help!

I've lost a bunch of functionality as well. I'm raising it now.

Re: Logging in to forums bug - today (and oh no not again)

It's all 'dead' on Edge too (so not Firefox specific). All URL's are odd. I have a notification from Strat on MauriceC's recent post ('Like' button not working - I did see his post, now it's gone - this could be why I saw the oops message - he may have taken it down?)

Re: Logging in to forums bug - today (and oh no not again)

I thought so, hence mentioning Edge too @JonoH ;). Using keyboard 'shortcuts' does give the emoji's, so guess that's one thing that still works :). Why, if nothing was done, do these forums 'creek' from time to time :(? - tagging users looks like it won't work either, but that does once you hit post....

Re: Logging in to forums bug - today (and oh no not again)

Hmm. So I've just installed Brave. But I's got to be doing something wrong, as the forums functions are the same as Edge or Firefox. I have seen some replies from others elsewhere and theirs appear to be fine. Oh well, guess I'll come back later when it's all working fine - until the next time!!
