Lack of dates

Where have all the dates gone. You can't see when the last post is made etc.

Are you asking about the relative dates (yesterday, a week ago, 5 minutes ago etc)? These are switched on by default but you can change it to absolute date to display the full date and time on posts if you prefer. If you want to use the relative dates but want to know the time and date of a post you can hover your mouse over the date marker to reveal a formatted date (hover over the 'a week ago/2 days ago/50 minutes ago' etc).
