Joke, of course; rather than hard, it's more of a pain in the arse to scroll from the bottom of the page to the top when I just want to get on with things. So, as with:

is there any possibility of placing a Logout link at the bottom of each forum page? Please don't tell me the software comes 'as is' and doesn't allow for that.

Use the Home and End keys on your keyboard - I actually have them programmed into two of my mouse keys

Aaaargh! I'm always muttering to myself about having to scroll back to the top but I do know about the home key (now that I've been reminded). Thanks Oldjim!

Ah! Thanks so much for that. You'd think after years of using a computer I'd know that.

I make use of "auto-scroll" (where you push the middle button in and then move the cursor up or down). I believe it's enabled by default in all the main browsers on Windows. The Linux build of Firefox seems to need it turning on.

On iMac, to scroll down, just tap the space bar.
And Shift + Space bar scrolls up.
Both, a browser window page at a time.
Most of the time I just stroke my Magic Mouse, literally !
A quick flick usually takes me to top or bottom of a page.
It may be the same on a PC ?
Home and End keys do exactly that.
