Is there a way to find new posts in a thread?

Ignore the new posts.link and open the board - TOPICS with new posts are shown in bold, at the top. Clicking the title goes to the first unread post in the topic (thread).

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

@Townman That's not how it works for me.

Currently there are 76 new posts in the "Email" section. If I click on that section there are 10 threads in bold shown under "Topics", indicating that there are unread posts in those threads. The 11th thread (not in bold) shows that the latest post was yesterday (when I last marked all posts as read).

One of those threads with unread posts is titled "Blacklisted by local policy". The thread was started on 23/7/25, so well before my last visit yesterday. The latest post is shown as 31 minutes ago. If I click on the thread title it takes me to the very first post, not to the unread posts.

Check your settings - preferences - linear layout - jump to first unread post.

I thought I had gone through all the relevant settings. I obviously missed that one. I don't remember ever unticking that box, so I assume it's unticked as default?
