It appears that PN are still using Wordpress 2.8.4.
Are there any plans afoot to move it onto something a little more up-to-date & secure?

Odd - in my total ignorance of forum software I thought we were using SMF 1.1.10 which is also a bit out of date
Checking up it appears that the forums and the community site aren't using the same software. I am sure that there must be a good reason for this but I haven't a clue what

Of course they are way out of date - that is the standard Plusnet way of doing things - leave it as it is until some major incident happens (e.g. a security breach) and then do an emergency upgrade with nothing like the right amount of planning and testing when it's already too late!

It's already being worked on, no definite timescale yet but it's being looked at.
