Can you limit the use of munged links to certain user status levels

I just spotted a spam post which included a munged link which was dodgy

Note I reported it and the mods jumped on it very quickly

So is it possible to block the use of such a link by new posters although it may also be necessary to block the use of HTML as well

Technically speaking... I could limit the use of HTML in posts for new users until they rank up a little and enable the standard members stuff. Let me discuss with the Help team and see what they think.

on some forums they block you adding links until you have a specified number of posts

I have amended the permissions for new users. Once they have ranked up they will have the normal behaviour.
