Big step in latency around 4am for some reason?

Interesting that at the time it changed there was also some packet loss!

@jelv on those graphs that is usually a lost connection/reconnection.  Seeing as the TG582n is a pain to login to and check the connection logs, I use my graph to see if I have lost connection since I was last at my pc

DSLAM in the cab fiddling with interleaving settings, looks like it could be adding deeper interleaving to get rid of those packet drops and accompanying errors. Looks like it's worked so far

I've seen some odd behavior on my connection on Wednesday, and this morning. To all intents and purposes it just looks like the DLM changing the interleaving.

and then again this morning

Only my modem stats don't show any drop in the connection, or any change in the interleaving.
Logs can be viewed here, todays graphs will be uploaded tomorrow morning, but I've logged in remotely to my server and checked, as I'm now at work. Connection up time is now about 750 hours, so the modem has't recently re-synced, which it would do to change the interleaving, and there's no change on the interleaving graph, it's been at 703 for a long time now.

I see similar changes from time to time. I've NEVER had interleaving on my line. I think it will be a change in the tunnelled route on the BT network from your exchange to the Plusnet gateway.

@Bob,  wonder if the router dropped the session, the modem certainly didn't seem to have done anything.
Edit,  any sign of anything for around 15:00 yesterday? Modem logs looked ok this morning.

One machine on 24/7, others during the day, no on-line gaming, on most of the day for internet radio and browsing etc.

@Chris I was watching 4OD so nothing wrong there and the total loss before it was a empty electric meter, the joys of a pre paid meter I forgot to feed it.  Plus the loss today you know about, I was one of the ones that got disconnected around 9am

You might as well leave the section heading for 20CN there as I should be moving back to 20CN in January

Sorry Chris I havn't checked in for a while. Been playing an old game (BF2142) Can't say I noticed anything unusual.
