Re: TBB Ping Graphs

No loss in connection but I had a ping change at 12pm yesterday?  I thought a ping change could only happen with a reconnection and getting a new gateway.  Or is the BT system changing other settings on the fly?
edit: 12pm and just lost PPP connection but not sync, seems to be a trend
edit: added the live graph by mistake

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

You've got some very interesting step changes in minimum latency on your graph! Have you had any resyncs?

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

@jelv me? other than 12pm yesterday no, the 2.30pm change yesterday was with no lost PPP connection or sync with the exchange.  I had a fault ticket open to get my SNR set to the default of 6 after a landline fault was fixed, so wondering if there is some background monitoring that is changing it on the fly.
Now waiting for 12pm today to see if something happens, if it does then there is some smoke and time to find the fire as that will be 3 days in a row.

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

Not you, I was responding to the immediately previous post by Ronski. Here's his graph - you'll see what I mean. Two of the changes may be associated with resyncs but that last doesn't seem to be.

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

I have on going problems with many resyncs ,  take look here for some more graphs.
I'm making sure everything is ok my end before I get PN involved
Edit: The one at 13:00 yesterday was where I swapped the modem for another, but I'm still having problems so will try a different modem cable as thats the only thing left to try.

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

Right, I think I've added everyone that has a valid graph.
For those that have been added it would be good to get a short sentence about how you use your connection, that will help us pinpoint anything out of the ordinary.
For example
[quote=Chris]Connection is generally used for gaming and streaming in the evening, with downloading for a couple of hours shortly after midnight occasionally. Very little daytime weekday usage.

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

OK, so what have you got against ID and myself that we don't warrant links to Extra 21CN with Pro add-on or Extra 20CN at the top of the page?

Re: TBB Ping Graphs

I'd actually created the anchor tags when I did all the others, for some reason had just missed them from the menu. Done now.
