Portal outage 17/07/2012

Hi Guys,
Were aware that the website is currently inaccessible and will be for at least the next 15 minutes, we are looking into this and we will be back with an update.

It took out the system they use to post service status changes as well!

Anyone else seen a change in the page title with 'odd' characters (or was it like that before and I just didn't notice)?

That looks like a character encoding issue. What's your browser's encoding currently set at?

I have no idea what it's set to, recently had to clean install Windows 7 so it should be IE9 default (though being IE it could well default to 'wrong'!).
Can't find anything about encoding from the 'tools' button, will keep looking.
[Edit] Closed and re-opened IE, it's back to normal now.  It appeared to happen as I had a tab open on the main site during the outage and it went odd when I refreshed it once it was back up.  MS: meh!
