Re: Peak time latency spikes

Anyone still experiencing issues it would be really helpful if you could start your own threads in Broadband and Routers now, this one has got a bit unwieldy and whilst it contains a lot of useful information it'll be easier for us to look at the remaining few problems separately (while keeping this thread in mind of course).

@Finguz
I've taken a look into your line and we'd like to get an engineer out to take a look at things for you.
We're just working with our suppliers so that we can do just that. We'll keep you updated via your Fault Ticket.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

I had an engineer here just about a week ago? No faults were found of any kind.
But yeah, whatever it takes is fine with me.

DNS fails.
If I use the IP address it times out.
I have tried manually entering DNS, auto assigned DNS and everything else in between with the same results. We have also tried 3 different pc's, a laptop and two other routers.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Your ping is high, mine is almost that for some unknown reason...and the same old story with peak time for me..Hopefully Chris Pettit and Kelly will have some luck getting BT to pull their fingers out...and get it sorted ASAP

Re: Peak time latency spikes

I had noticed that since being put onto the elevated product my line profile has dropped by 10Mbps . and also affected the upload speed.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Their checker is fubar.
You need your broadband circuit ID to get to the next page I think.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

My first peak time usage for over a week - currently on gateway ptw-ag03.
Speedtest now:

Speedtest 50 minutes earlier:

What I usually get...

So ping and upstream unaffected, just a significant downstream drop still.
