Re: Peak time latency spikes

@markm9
Your TBB graph doesn't show the same characteristics of this particular issue, and from graphs I've seen in the past I'd say it is much more likely to be exchange congestion than a problem anywhere in PN's network.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

@houlton23
Ive just found that my exchange is undergoing some works, where there will be no bband from midnight until 6am, will see what that does to congestion on my exchange, when i was on ADSL  i never had this issue!

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Chances are BT have simply underestimated the speed of uptake of Fibre services and therefore don't have enough capacity, this happened with the Bradwell Abbey exchange a week or two ago, should be much better tomorrow if BT are doing capacity work tonight Smiley

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Mark: Yeah, your graph looks like a problem of some sort; the fact that your minimum latency spikes up a touch plus the packet loss.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

@ mark Which exchange are you on? Do you see reduced speeds at peak times?

@ mark
Unless you have a line fault (I would guess unlikely), you are not alone with slow downs on your exchange - http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showpost.php?p=64208960&postcount=52
