Re: Peak time latency spikes

Just to advise no nasty latency during the evening seen on TBB monitor for one 21CN user on pcl-ag02. HTH.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

@Anotherone: Sorry I missed your reply last night, I was busy sucking at Halo 4  :-[. I'll try the bt speedtest tonight if I get the same problems.
My speeds are back to normal now, and my Monitor shows no signs of latency from last night, despite my dreadfully slow speeds and higher pings. Also, I was not on pcl-ag07 or 08 apart from for a minute or so. Still on ptn-ag03 since my hop last night.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Well that looks a lot better, there is obviously nothing wrong at this time with your sync speed to the Cab either. Running the BT Diagnostic test as mention earlier, you can check your IP Profile for the line which should remain constant if you aren't having drops.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Bt Speedtest results below, I'm fairly certain my profile has been 77.4 since my service was activated on 17th Jan. I'l do another one tonight if/when the slowdown starts.
Download speed achieved during the test was - 73.12 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 16 Mbps-77.44 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 77.44 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 15.13Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps

Not quite! It's at the end of the road though, probably 100 yards away, if that.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Whilst my download speeds have been ok today, seems the packet loss has been bad according to TBB graph.  This is on gateway pcl-ag04.

Far as I know it's still accepting ping request, not sure how to check that.  And far as I knowe nothing happened at around that time.
