Re: Peak time latency spikes

We're aware of problems accessing certain services provided by our suppliers, some of which we use for our own Fault Diagnostics.
Unfortunately, as the TAP3 Results are sent onto our suppliers systems, it is likely you will see errors.
This should be resolved shortly. I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may causing you all.
Edit: - Should be up and running now Smiley

Re: Peak time latency spikes

Chris,
The latest response to my fault ticket (66179821) asked for me to connect directly to the modem to rule out the router causing the problem. Whilst I obviously want to get the problem sorted, I don't want to spend hours running tests, so I'd like to avoid anything that's pointless...
Yesterday gateway hopping sorted my speed issue, so is it really worth me bypassing the router to do a speed test or shall I reply to the ticket to say I'm running tests etc as requested by yourself and Kelly on here?
Thanks,
Ric

Re: Peak time latency spikes

All seems normal so far, although the TBB graph seems to indicate latency is starting to increase.  I will monitor it over the course of the evening, although once this graph fails I doubt I'll set another up.
Ping:

Speed:

and finally current TBB graph:

Hopefully some progress is being made on this, although it is slightly disturbing to see this is still not acknowledged as a problem on the 'priority problems' page...

Re: Peak time latency spikes

@ricmelia - I noticed that, seems to suggest this issue is not a priority Roll_eyes
Also, is anyone else having problems with the forums? It keeps timing out on me which is just adding to the frustration!  I can only post on my pc 1 in 10 times.

That's far from the case, if you look at the amount of time Kelly and others have put in outside of their normal 9-5.30 you'll see how committed to resolving this we are.
Can I suggest that any queries about the forum being slow are put into a separate thread so as not to confuse things in here?

Re: Peak time latency spikes

I still think the BT checker (with the test login) are not working.

Re: Peak time latency spikes

I'm not suggesting that Kelly and Chris et al are not going beyond the call of duty, they are doing a great job of being visible and responding to issues promptly.  However, if this is a priority, why is it not listed as such?  I merely suggested that the absence of the issue in that section could give the impression it's not a priority, and that might be something best avoided.

Turns out it does affect me after all  Smiley
Manually disconnecting/reconnecting to a different gateway was an instant fix.
