Notice of mailing list decommission

The following email is about to be sent to approximately 300 customers. A discussion thread for the announcement can be found over in the Email Forum.
[quote author="Bob Pullen"]Important notice about your Plusnet mailing list
Your username: {username}

Dear {full_name},

You are receiving this email as our records indicate that you have used our 'mailing list' service at some point during the last twelve months -
http://www.plus.net/support/email/mailing_lists.shtml
If you're not familiar with this service, or have no intention of using it again, then feel free to disregard the contents of this email.
If however you *do* still make use of your mailing list, then please take a minute to read this email in its entirety as it contains important information about the future of the service.
_Background_
We are currently in the process of upgrading parts of our email platform, which includes migrating from one file storage system to another. The reason we're doing this is to ensure that the platform remains scalable as customer numbers increase.
Unfortunately this new architecture is *not* compatible with our current mailing list implementation.
_Decommissioning_
We have carried out a full review of the platform, but have been unable to identify a practical solution that allows us to continue offering the service.
It's with regret therefore, that we have taken the decision to decommission our mailing list service on Tuesday 19th April 2011.
After this date, any mailing lists you have set up will cease to function.
_So what do I need to do_?
In order to preserve your mailing list, you will need to explore other third-party alternatives. We strongly suggest that you look to do this as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience to your subscribers. Google Groups is one free alternative that /may/ meet your requirements -
http://groups.google.com/
Google Groups is not the only alternative though, and there are a number of equally decent (and potentially more fitting) solutions available that may be better suited to your requirements.
_How can I find out who's subscribed to my list_?
You can obtain a full list of your existing subscribers' email addresses by using the -list command as explained on our website here - http://www.plus.net/support/email/mailing_lists.shtml#admin
_Will you help me migrate my list elsewhere_?
We're unable to provide support via official channels, however you can seek help from other customers and members of staff over on our Community Site Email forum -
http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/board,65.0.html
_What's next_?
We will send you a reminder notice in a month's time, then on the 19th April a final notice will be sent to you advising that we have switched the service off.
Whilst we recognise the inconvenience this situation will create for some customers, we hope that you can understand our reasoning behind the decision.

Best regards,
Bob Pullen

Last month we emailed you a second time to remind you that we would shortly be decommissioning our mailing list service.
This is a final notice to advise you that the service has now been decommissioned and is no longer available.
