Hi
I have a 40 gig external hard drive I want to sell but dont have a clue what its worth and wonder if anybody has any idea?

What it actually is is a spare 40gig seagate hard drive that I had that I put in to an enclosure hence making it portable, it doesnt need any extra drivers under XP, you just plug it in and away you go, its even got its own power supply and usb lead to go with it

A good trick is to sign up with eBay (if you haven't already) then search 'completed items' - i.e. auctions that have ended. It's a good way of finding the selling price of something.
