WML pages on Apache server?

Does anyone know how to setup Apache to display WML (WAP pages, basically) pages correctly on a mobile?

I've read a few tutorials on the internet about this with Apache, but I can't get any of them to work.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Nathan

WML pages on Apache server?

Hi Platty, thanks for the reply. Think that the htaccess file only defines who can access certain areas of the Apache server, not how to determine the mime types to display. However I coudl be completely wrong! I have found a file called mime.types and that file contains some WAP/WML types, but I can't find anything more on it so I'll keep looking. Smiley

Thanks,
Nathan

WML pages on Apache server?

Hi Platty, I tried out your .htaccess idea and it's worked a treat Smiley Thanks very much!

For those who want to setup Apache to process WML pages, here is the contents of the .htaccess file you need to create and place in your htdocs folder on your webdserver:

AddType text/vnd.wap.wml wml
AddType image/vnd.wap.wbmp wbmp
AddType text/vnd.wap.wmlscript wmls
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlc wmlc
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlscriptc wmlsc
